NPSC Appoints Hamisi Massa As Acting DCI boss

The acting deputy director of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations Hamisi Massa has been appointed by NPSC to act as the Director for 14 days to pave way for filling of the position competitively.

“Massa will be the DCI in an acting capacity, until the position is filled substantively and competitively in at least 14 days,” he said.

The announcement follows the exit of former Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti.

Dr. Massa was promoted to the position of Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation following  the retirement of Joseph Ashimala

Among the requirements needed is a degree from a University recognized in Kenya, at least 10 years of proven experience at the management level of a public institution, a distinguished career, and knowledge and experience in criminal investigations or policing.
