Esse Mbeyu Akida has been awarded the top scorer of the Greek Women’s Premier League at the 41st Greek Panhellenic Association of Paid Footballers and Women Footballers ( PSAPP) awards.

Esse was born in Kilifi. She began her journey at Moving The Goalposts Kenya in 2002, an NGO based in Kilifi and is a member of the women’s football team Harambee Starlets.
