Boost For Raila’s As Angola And Guinea Bissau Endorse His Candidature

Former prime minister and ODM chairman Raila Odinga has receive a major boost on his AU candidature after Angola and Guiner Bissau endorse his candidature.

President William Ruto’s diplomatic overtures in West Africa have bolstered support for opposition leader Raila Odinga’s candidacy for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairperson position, with Ghana, Angola, and Guinea-Bissau pledging their backing this week.

Umaro Sissoco Embaló, President of Guinea-Bissau, has publicly announced that he will fully support and vote for Baba Raila Odinga to be the next AUC chairperson.
