Kenya Women’s Under 17 football team “Harambee Junior Starlets” make history by qualifying for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup for the first time ever after thrashing Burundi 2-0 on the day and 5-0 on aggregate and securing their spot in the Dominican Republic in October 2024 thanks to first-half strikes from Marion Serenge and Valerie Nekesa at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi.
