President Uhuru Kenyatta presides over this year’s passing-out ceremony of the Kenya Defense Forces at RTS Eldoret

His Excellency President of republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta presided over the passing-out ceremony of the Kenya Defence Forces Recruits at the Moi Barracks Recruits Training School (RTS) in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.

The head of state challenged the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) soldiers to continue with the spirit of success and efficiency in service delivery that has been outstanding for long time in Kenya military.

“Today as you join the Kenya Defense Forces, remember that our military commands honor, respect, and admiration in the region, and, indeed, across the globe. Our servicemen and women inspire confidence, patriotism, and pride in the hearts of our people,” the President, who is the Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defense Forces”, He said.

The President was accompanied by Her Excellency First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, Governors Jackson Mandago (Uasin Gishu), Alex Tolgos (Elgeyo Marakwet) and Defence CS Eugene Wamalwa among other senior state and military officials.
