Ruto’s UDA party most popular in Kenya, 46% don’t subscribe to Party politics- Tifa poll

A poll conducted by TIFA shows that UDA party popularity sustained a steady upward trajectory, rising from 21% in June 2021. The newly formed party enjoys a popularity of 30% followed by ODM party that popularity also increased from 9% to 16%.

The poll had a +/- 2.51 per cent margin of error. The sample size was 1,591 and telephonic interviews were conducted with respondents whose contacts were collected face-to-face.

Majority of UDA supporters were Jubilee diehards with little support gained from other Party defectors.

The poll also shows that 46% of Kenyans do not subscribe to party politics, with the majority of this, at 31 per cent having been in the Jubilee.

Dp William Ruto was also ranked as the highest national wide approval of 38% followed by Hon. Raila Odinga at 23%.

Hon Sakaja was Ranked as the best aspirant to take over Nairobi City hall business at 30%.
