Shakib Cham has opened up about the growing tensions in his relationship with socialite and entrepreneur Zari Hassan.
Shakib admits that he initially believed that their love was mutual, but over time, he realized that respect was lacking.
“The mistake I made was thinking that the love is mutual,” he stated. “No marriage can last long without respect. I would’ve endured the disrespect if she was taking care of me.”
Despite the fame and recognition that came with being part of Zari, Shakib confesses that he hasn’t gained much from their marriage. Instead, he feels disrespected by her actions and comments, which he says disregard his mental health and feelings.
Shakib Cham also addressed the negativity he receives online, which he attributes to Zari’s behavior.
He feels that Zari’s actions have led to him being mocked and criticized by the public. The recent incident that has deeply hurt him is of Zari recording and sharing videos with her ex-partner and baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz, during his visit to celebrate Latiffah’s birthday.
“I asked Zari or her friends not to record videos that would on the internet and be used to mock me,” Shakib explained.
